Vincent Camobreco is a visiting principal faculty specialist with the Center for Global Sustainability at the University of Maryland School of Public Policy. His work focuses on U.S. energy sector combustion GHG emissions and development of the community-based greenhouse gas inventory and related work to support policy analysis. Before joining CGS, he was the source lead at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for the energy fossil fuel combustion emissions category in the compilation of EPA’s annual U.S. greenhouse gas inventory and related state-level data. Prior to that he managed the EPA’s work on life cycle GHG impacts of renewable and alternative fuels and developed protocols to calculate and report corporate greenhouse gas inventories to the EPA. Camobreco holds a master's of engineering in agricultural and biological engineering from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Clarkson University.
