Christina Bowman is the Senior Manager at the Center for Global Sustainability. Her work focuses on climate and energy policy, primarily through the America’s Pledge initiative and the Global Coal Analysis and Policy for Decarbonization project. Her work spans across the Center portfolio to develop, align, and implement new projects as well as managing high-level deliverables and partnerships across the portfolio of projects.
Previously she worked at the U.S. Department of Energy on energy efficiency and renewable energy for low-income communities as part of the Clean Energy Savings for All Americans initiative, the International Council on Clean Transportation, and interned at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. She was a 2018 Clean Energy Leadership Institute Fellow, the 2015 finalist in the inaugural DC Climathon competition, and has contributed to the Huffington Post. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Towson University and a Master of Public Policy with a specialization in Environmental Policy from the University of Maryland.
