On Thursday, September 24, 2020 Rep. Harley Rouda, the Chairman of the Subcommittee on Environment, held a hearing, the last in the Subcommittee’s climate change series, to explore solutions to the climate crisis, including actions that can be taken by the federal government to support the transition to a green economy and increase competitiveness in the global marketplace.
Dean Orr testified as a witness before the Committee, speaking to two areas where recent Federal government backsliding and inaction is undermining U.S. interest - economic transformation and competitiveness, and resilience to inevitable climate shocks.
