Pablo D. Alcala

Alcala  is a PhD student in public policy at the University of Maryland, College Park, where he focuses on international development and social policy evaluation. He has led and contributed to research and evaluations for international organizations such as the Inter-American Development Bank, UNDP and the World Food Programme, as well as public institutions and research centers in Mexico. Prior to joining UMD, he worked on impact evaluations, data systems and policy analysis across Latin America and the Caribbean. He is a Fulbright-García Robles fellow and holds a master’s in public administration and policy from CIDE.
