Jennifer Richmond

Jennifer's research spans a range of environmental, sustainable development, and climate policy topics in the US as well as globally. She uses quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods approaches to address pragmatic policy issues. Her dissertation research primarily focuses on the development and validation of common types of metrics for capturing complex systems of disaster resilience and recovery. Prior to joining the School of Public Policy, she worked as a Research Assistant at the Center for Global Development. She holds an MA in Global Environmental Policy from American University and a BS in Political Science from Shepherd University.
