The University System of Maryland Board of Regents announced the recipients of the 2021 Regents' Faculty Awards. Betty Duke was recognized with the Regents Faculty Award for Excellence in Teaching, and Bob Grimm was recognized with the Regents Faculty Award for Excellence in Public Service.

The Regents' Faculty Awards are the highest honor that the Board bestows to recognize exemplary faculty achievement across the System's 12 institutions, and each year, a maximum of 17 awards are given.

"The fact that they have been recognized from the many thousands of faculty across these institutions is a testament to their achievements, their commitment to our students and community, and their dedication to the field of public policy," said Robert C. Orr, dean of the School of Public Policy.
