Huong has 11 years of experience in infrastructure development and financing. The last 6 years, she has worked in the East Asia Energy Unit with project preparation and supervision, support to sector dialogue and leadership of strategic analytics. In Indonesia, she has been involved in geothermal development including co-leading an $840 innovative geothermal risk mitigation project and another $100 million geothermal exploration drilling program for four small island projects. Most recently, she has co-led the preparation of the first-ever pumped storage hydropower project in Indonesia and supported the preparation of an >$1billion program supporting the Energy Transition. In Myanmar, she has led advisory work on electricity tariff reform and climate resilience of the power sector, and been a core team member in the national electrification program, which is the largest energy access program in the world ever financed by the World Bank when it was approved.
