This event will provide viewers with insights about a painful and episode of US history not previously shared before via a National Geographic documentary which focuses on the Red Summer of 1919 and the Tulsa Massacre of 1921. UMD Professor DeNeen Brown (Washington Post Reporter and Philip Merrill College of Journalism Associate Professor) worked as a field producer for this documentary.
