We are pleased to present the next installment of our Experts in Residence Program, featuring Maureen Shields Lorenzetti from the World Bank Group, on Thursday, November 4th from 9 AM – 1 PM in Room 2202A of Van Munching Hall. 

Maureen Shields Lorenzetti (’86 and ’09) is a senior program manager for Staff Services at the World Bank Group. Maureen graduated from the University of Maryland with a B.S. degree in Journalism with general honors. After over two decades as a reporter and editor covering international energy and environmental policy issues, she was recruited by the World Bank as a spokesperson. As a condition of employment, she obtained her Master of Public Policy degree from the University of Maryland. In her current position as a program manager, she works in the Global Corporate Solutions department, overseeing various Bank Group offerings including commuter services, the childcare and fitness centers, and its family support network.


This a great opportunity for anyone interested in The World Bank Group to seek advice regarding internship/job searching techniques, career specific information, and many other related topics. The World Bank has hosted many successful SPP interns and is eager to meet new potential candidates.
