Dr. Norbert Schady: “Interactions: Do Teacher Behaviors Predict Achievement, Executive Function, and Non-Cognitive Outcomes in Elementary School?”

On December 3, the International Development Policy Council will be hosting Dr. Norbert Schady. Dr. Schady will be giving a talk on his research, “Interactions: Do Teacher Behaviors Predict Achievement, Executive Function, and Non-Cognitive Outcomes in Elementary School?” Dr. Schady is currently a Principal Economic Advisor at the Inter-American Development Bank and has held previous positions at the World Bank and the United Nations Children’s Fund. His main research areas are early childhood development, cash transfer programs, and the effects of economic crises on the accumulation of human capital.

The talk will take place on December 3 from 12:00 -1:00 PM on Zoom. Dr. Schady will also meet with students from 1:00 -1:30 PM following the talk.
