The 5th Annual Celebration of Service gala will be held on April 6 from 2:00pm in Orem Alumni Hall, Riggs Alumni Center. It will be a great afternoon for us to come together as a community and recognize the achievements of the School of Public Policy and our people.
Taking the time to reflect on the work we have done and recognize those in our community who have gone above and beyond is an important part of being a School family. In this spirit, we encourage you to highlight the achievements of your colleagues, professors and classmates by nominating them for an award. Whether they have made an impact in the classroom, in the School, or in the wider world, this is an opportunity to recognize the great contributions they are making to our community.
We look forward to joining you, in person and virtually, for an afternoon of fun and celebration, and to continue a tradition of recognizing excellence in our community.
Following the in-person program in Orem Hall, a social hour with lite fare will be offered with access to the garden patio as weather permits.
The program will be available via livestream here: https://youtu.be/lvkBCkkeYj0
Celebrating 40 Years
This event is part of a year-long series celebrating the School of Public Policy's 40th anniversary. During this year the School reflects on a fundamental question — what role should programs of public policy play in our world? The policymaker and analyst of the past needs to be the policy entrepreneur of the future, adept at navigating an ever-changing governance landscape. As we look forward to our next 40 years of serving the public good, we commit to advancing education and research.
