Hosted by the School of Public Policy and the National Conference on Citizenship, the conference is an opportunity to hear from a wide range of speakers on the nation's most pressing democratic issues. Highlights include a session on Civic Learning featuring John King, Former U.S. Secretary of Education and President & CEO of The Education Trust and the presentation of NCoC’s Citizen of the Year award to Desmond Meade, the founder and Executive Director of the Florida Rights Restoration Coalition.
