Steven A. Gabriel, PhD, is a full professor at the University of Maryland in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Applied Math & Statistics, & Scientific Computation Program. He is also an affiliate of the Institute for Systems Research and an Academic Advisor for the Energy Systems Management and Policy certificate program.
Steven also has appointments as an adjunct professor in the Department of Industrial Economics and Technology Management at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and as a research professor with DIW (German Institute for Economic Research) in Berlin.
Formerly, Steven was a full professor at the University of Maryland Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, a faculty director of the Master of Engineering and Public Policy Program, and an affiliate of the School of Public Policy.
