Nick Brennan serves as the Director of Development for the School of Public Policy, holding principal responsibility for a diverse range of fundraising activities to support school priorities, students, faculty, and programs. Prior to joining SPP, Nick spent 8 years in fundraising at UMD's Robert H. Smith School of Business, and before that, in marketing and fundraising roles in a number of leading arts, cultural, human service, and educational nonprofit organizations, including Arena Stage, Washington National Cathedral, the Levine School of Music, the National Endowment for the Arts, United Cerebral Palsy, and Youth for Understanding USA.
A native of Massachusetts, Nick earned his Bachelors of Music degree from Catholic University and is a graduate of the Do Good Institute's Nonprofit Leadership & Management Certificate program. Nick is currently in SPP's Executive MPM program and will graduate in May 2023.
