Daniel Fallon is currently retired, holding continuing titles as professor emeritus at the School of Public Policy and Department of Psychology, University of Maryland, College Park. Before retiring, he served as chair of the Education Division of Carnegie Corporation of New York, where he directed all grant funding in education, focusing on adolescent literacy, urban school reform, and especially teacher education. He remains an active participant in teacher education reform activities and in the restructuring of German higher education, where he has served as a consultant to the German government and has served on Boards of Trustees of major universities.
