Mr. Bryce Slinger serves as Deputy Director of Strategy Management for the Military Health System within the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs. Mr. Slinger develops and manages the Military Health System’s strategy to improve readiness, better health, better care, and lower cost. The Military Health System is an integrated system of readiness and health that provides care for 9.5 million Active Duty Service Members, Reservists, their families, and military retirees across the world. Prior, he developed policies and strategic initiatives to improve public health preparedness and response at the Department of Health and Human Services and the American Red Cross.
Mr. Slinger is an alumnus of the U.S. Presidential Management Fellowship and a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer. He received a B.A. from Macalester College in Saint Paul, MN and a MPH from Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. Mr. Slinger is pursuing a Ph.D. at the University of Maryland at College Park.
In his free time, Mr. Slinger is an active member of the Washington Improv Theater. He regularly performs with Lizard Girl and Ugh.
