Benjamin Reichard MPP ‘20, former GoTech graduate research assistant, recently accepted a seat in the Harvard Law School class of 2025.
Reichard is from rural Western Maryland and studied issues related to Appalachia as an undergraduate and graduate student at the University of Maryland. He plans to study public interest law and other ways to serve Appalachia in law school, and also wants to explore law in the fields of sports, entertainment and business.
Since graduation, Reichard has served as a chief of staff for a legislator from Western Maryland in the Maryland General Assembly. He will depart Annapolis for Cambridge later this summer.
Reichard credits his Master of Public Policy coursework and his time as a research assistant for refining his writing, strengthening his argumentation and improving his analysis of technical documents like contracts. He sends special thanks to Prof. Lucyshyn, Prof. Luedtke, and Dr. Duke for their mentorship and inspirational leadership, and says he will always be a Terp at heart!
