A Day of Black History: Stories of Empowerment and Justice (An SPP Teach-In)

Back to All Events

This February 22 as we focus on the significance of Black History Month the School of Public Policy warmly invites you to a dynamic and inspiring teach-in like no other. Get ready to dive deep into the rich tapestry of the Black experience in the US.

This year we embrace the theme "African Americans and the Arts" and more. This day of community engagement is not just a teach-in; it's a heartfelt invitation to engage, question, and celebrate the multifaceted experiences and contributions of the Black community. From wellness to education policy, and the race and food culture as well social media and criminal justice, each session is crafted to inspire, inform and foster a deeper sense of community and understanding. Please mark your calendars and bring your curiosity and your insights.

Students, faculty and staff are welcome at this event.
