In partnership with the Karabelle Pizzigati Initiative and the Maryland Initiative for Literacy and Equity (MILE), come join us and engage with Maryland Delegates and Senators and discuss policies that will improve the lives of children, youth and young adults in the state. This is a great opportunity to meet representatives and advocate for a number of issues that impact children and their families including fully funding the Blueprint for Maryland's Future, combating chronic absenteeism, improving literacy, funding professional development and reforming the juvenile justice and child welfare systems.
Transportation provided from UMD and lunch are provided. A one-hour training is required for participants which will take place Wednesday February 7, 2024 at 2:00pm. Registration is limited.
This is a red out; please wear red to the event.
