Born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley, Apolonia Calderon earned both her Bachelors degree (2013) and Ph.D. (2018) in Political Science from Texas A&M University.

David Mussington is a professor of the practice the University of Maryland School of Public Policy, and currently serves as the CISA Executive Assistant Director.

• Cybersecurity; critical infrastructure protection; science & technology policy; international security; US defense & foreign policy

Luke Spreen is an assistant professor at the University of Maryland School of Public Policy. His research falls under two broad themes. First, whether oversight of public or nonprofit entities leads to improvements in their financial outcomes.

Dr. Chloe Schwenke is an international public policy adviser, development ethicist and practitioner, human rights scholar and activist, researcher, and educator.
