Social Policy

The School of Public Policy at the University of Maryland, College Park seeks to appoint an Associate or Full Professor in the Social Policy field, starting in Fall 2020. The School seeks distinguished candidates with an active research agenda and teaching interest in such policy areas as: health (including public health, healthcare access and financing, and social determinants of health); poverty and income disparity; social insurance; education (including higher education); and criminal justice. A demonstrable commitment to health-related policy problems as part of a candidate’s portfolio creates prospects for an endowed chair.

International Policy

The School of Public Policy at the University of Maryland, College Park seeks to appoint an Associate or Full Professor in the International Policy field, starting in Fall 2020. Candidates should have expertise in International Security, International Economic Policy, International Development or International/Global Governance. Candidates with interdisciplinary work, and whose work may range across one or more of these areas, are especially encouraged to apply. Disciplinary background should be in the areas of or closely related to public policy, economics, international relations or political science.
